Congratulations to all of the students who took part in the Genocide Remembrance Museum project on February 3 and 4 at Central High. Here are a couple of links to their stories:
On Thursday, February 4, Central High played host to "Rachel's Challenge", an event that remembers the life and legacy of Rachel Joy Griffith, the first victim of the tragic school shooting at Columbine High. Here is a link to a story featured on ABC 30 about Rachel's chain reaction of kindness.

Based on the current legislation that was signed into law on October 7, 2015 by Governor Brown, SB172 now mandates that school districts issue diplomas for students who have met all Local Education Agency graduation requirements other than the passage of the CAHSEE starting with the class of 2006. If you feel you meet these requirements please contact the registrar at the last school that you attended at CUSD. Requests will be reviewed by a Central Unified School District counselor. Please allow up to 4 weeks to process your request.
